Win or Lose, Patches for You!

Hi Friends, So my newest TV obsessions is obviously Making It on NBC. It’s a reality TV competition show about crafting and creating. Why didn’t anyone think of putting this on TV sooner?! Like seriously, who doesn’t love to see people creating amazing, random, cute things! I know I do! It’s hosted by Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman, who are truly hilarious. They are constantly making craft puns, which are so funny they have me cracking up on my sofa the whole episode. It started with 8 Makers (Contestants) and now they are down to 3 with only one episode left. It’s anyone game at this point, they are all…

    Happy Birthday, She Wrote!

Hi Friends, I hope everyone is having a good August! It’s always a fun month around my house because my brother’s and my mom’s birthday are this month. In my family we have always made a big deal out of our birthdays. We really try to make that person feel special. We always do an entire birthday week and get a present everyday and decorate with a theme of something that the person loves at the moment. I did pizza decorations for my brother’s birthday at the beginning of the month, Power rangers for my sister’s birthday in March and superheros for my nephew’s birthday party in June. You know I…

    July Favorites!

Hi Friends, Now that we are well into august I have finally compiled my list of July favorites. July was a crazy, awesome, fun and exciting month. Mainly because of  Christmas in July obviously. The first batch of Hallmark ornaments were released in mid July. I got started on all of my Christmas crafting and planning and I listened to Christmas music non stop. I also got a Cricut Maker in July, the rose-colored one of Course. It was pretty hot here in California last month so I didn’t go on any adventures because staying inside was a must with the heat wave. I also decided to reorganize my craft…

    Christmas in July Ornaments Premiere!

Hi Friends, As you know Christmas is one of the best things in the world to me! It’s hard to pick just one aspect of Christmas that’s my favorite. Between the lights, music, decorations, and the feeling and spirit in the air, I love it all! However my favorite part might be decorating the tree and ornaments. In our house we have 9 Christmas trees, each one having a different theme. Every July Hallmark premieres their new batch of ornaments and I seriously count down the days starting in January. Collecting Hallmark ornaments is a tradition in my family that started with my grandma. She also loved Christmas like crazy…

Hi Friends, Sorry for the Delay on my favorite things from June. It was a crazy month… between my nephews 6th birthday party, Fathers Day and preparing for Independence Day, I feel like I didn’t have time to find favorites. But I do have a few things I have been loving. I hope everyone had a great June and they are enjoying July… Pink Felt Letter Board– I am obsessed with letter boards and of course I have been wanting a pink one for a while. The problem is that they are usually super expensive for any boards that are a decent size. I was walking looking through the clearance…

    DIY Glitter sneakers!

Hi Friends, One of my favorite sayings is “leave a little sparkle wherever you go”… probably because I feel like everything in my life needs to sparkle and have glitter or sequins! I had some silver glitter Converse for almost ten years and I wore them so much that they wore out. I literally would wear them almost everywhere…. Disneyland, concerts, the park playing with my nephew, or just around the house to clean. The inside lining is almost gone, they have giant holes on the side and all the glitter has  practically fallen off. I was devastated! So I went on a hunt for similar shoes, I knew they…
