August Favorites!

Hi Friends,

Can you believe it’s already September?! I can’t! August was a month full of celebration with my mom and brother’s birthdays both in August. I spent a lot of the month celebrating them. Also in August I started my Halloween craft planning which is always fun…. Stayed tuned for those coming this month! As usual the start of a new month means my favorites from the previous month! Without further ado, here are some of my favorite things from August 2018.

1. Cricut Easy Press

As I mentioned in my last monthly favorites I purchased a Cricut Easy Press and LOVE it! Well I knew I wanted to get the mat to use with it so I wasn’t constantly searching for a towel to use under my Easy Press every time I wanted to use it. I got the large 12×24 inch size and its amazing! It’s nice to not have to move my mat when I am Pressing something. I ordered mine from Michael’s website since they don’t carry them in store.

2. Stained Glass Ornaments

I got Stained glass Beauty and The Beast Ornaments from “The Cheeky Cupcake”. It’s an Instagram shop and she sells a few sets of them sporadically and I have been wanting them for so long but they always sold out before I had a chance to purchase. My sister finally surprised me with them. They are absolutely gorgeous! Inspired by the Christmas movie and the Christmas tree in the Be Our Guest restaurant in Disney World. I cant wait to display them!

3. Essie Nail Polish

Next is the Mercury in Retrograde Duo. They are, Keep calm…, and Mercury on and are exclusively sold at Ulta. They are so shimmery and Gorgeous. Keep Calm…. is very sheer, with multiple coats it can be a stand alone, but also works beautifully as a glitter coat over an opaque color! And Mercury On is much more opaque and deep purple/blue. Both are Beautiful!

4. Market Pantry Sparkling Water

I only drink water, No soda, no coffee, no tea, no alcohol, and I rarely drink Milk anymore. Occasionally at Christmas time I will partake in hot cocoa but that’s it. So when my sister told me to try this I fell in love, My favorite flavor is Strawberry Lemonade. It’s not too sweet and not too watery. The perfect refreshing drink….. especially in summer.

5. Apple Pencil and Procreate

I got my Apple Pencil at the end of July and have been obsessed ever since. I love to use it for digital calligraphy but also I like to draw out designs for parties I am working on. I am a visual person so it helps me to see what I’m planning. I almost exclusively use my pencil with the procreate app on my Ipad Pro. Its $9.99 on the app store and its worth every penny!

6. Making It

If you saw my DIY Patch Apron Post, You know how obsessed I was with Making It on NBC. The Finale aired last night and I am so bummed it’s over! The show was so hilarious, creative and fun! If you haven’t seen it then go to NBC or HULU and watch the whole season!
