Easy 4th of July decorations!

HI friends,

4th of July is a week away and I hope everyone is busy preparing for your parties and BBQs. I can’t wait for the fireworks, delicious food and hanging out with family and friends. My house just got decorated this past weekend. I know, I have been talking about this holiday for weeks and I should have been decorated a long time ago, but I didn’t get a chance to decorate until now. If you guys are running late like me with your patriotic decorating…. here are some ideas for you!

I started with my fabric scrap backdrop. Its super easy to make and not too expensive, which is always a perk. You can use it like I did as a mantle backdrop, for a party table or even a photo booth backdrop. I got White Lace ribbon at Michaels ,with a Coupon of course, for $5. I only used one spool and cut it to the length of the fabric I used. I got two yards of red and blue cotton from Joann Fabrics. They were on super sale so I got an amazing deal, about $1 per yard! I cut them into stripes about two and a half inches wide and left the length the same. After I had all of my strips I just tied them on twine one strip at a time. Quick and simple!
Then I made the Graphic in the frame. I only have a regular office printer so I printed it across four sheets of paper so they could be glued together to fit into a large frame. Here is the image I created… Land That I Love Sign. Feel free to use it!
I also created the banner hanging across the mantle. Put it on the front of a table, hang it on a canopy at a BBQ, or on you mantle like I did. All you have to do is print it out and thread it on some ribbon. string or twine. Here is the attachment for the free printable banner… 4th of July Banner
Finally the rest of the Decor I picked up at Michaels. It was all 50% off. Remember never pay full price. There is always a sale or coupon. If you start your decorating early enough you can wait for a good sale or for a 50% 0ff coupon!

That’s it! You don’t have to put a lot of time or effort in to make your decor look like you spent forever planning it! All you have to do it put a few key pieces together! I hope you enjoy the free printable’s. Until next time…
