January Bullet Journal!

Hi Friends! Happy January, as I mentioned in my 2019 Bullet Journal set up post, I started bullet journaling in June of 2018 and quickly became addicted! The best thing about bullet journaling is that it’s completely customizable to what you need in a planner. I keep my pretty simple in what spreads I use on a monthly basis. As of right now I do a monthly quote, a month overview, then each week I do a weekly spread and most of the time I do a meal plan page after each weekly spread but this month I used my phone to meal plan. But hey, that could change any time which is my favorite part! If I see a spread someone else tried and liked, I can try it for a month or two to see if it helps me!

Each month I choose a theme and January’s theme is baking. I absolutely LOVE to bake. My mom started me and my sisters young with a love of baking. She would put and apron on us and pull a stool up to the counter and let us bake with her all the time. Now I bake all the time with my Nephew. The quote I chose for January is “the secret ingredient is always love” I literally tell my nephew this every single day and when I decided January was going to have a baking theme I knew this would be the quote. Now when I look back at it I can think of him and all the baking we have done together.

Pages one and two are my January cover pages, with my quote for the month, a January calendar, and section for me to write my favorite things for the month.

Pages three and four is my monthly overview page. Here I have a full January calendar when I can write down all my appointments or plans for the month. I also like to have a section for the blog posts I will be working on during the month and a section for next month so I know what I have coming up in case there’s anything I need to prepare for.

Pages five through four-teen are my weekly spreads. In each weekly spread I make a section for each day (including the weekend days) and a spot for next week. I use the daily sections for my to do lists. I have always been a list person, I just find is keeps me on task and I tend not to forget things if it’s written down. In the next week section I write down what I have coming in the next week and what posts I plan to work on in the coming week.
